Denim has been and continues to be a smashing success since its conception in 1873 by Jacob W. Davis and Levi Strauss. Originally denim jeans were designed and manufactured for heavy labor workers but cowboys became a muse and were idolized for wearing denim jeans. In the late 1890s, denim became a fashion statement.

In 1950 denim were designed for women though a large majority of the sex showed no interest in wearing pants. The Hippy Era, proved prominent for women wearing denim jeans, while The Soulful ’70s brought the design of the wide-leg bell-bottom jeans that created a rave for both men and women alike! Stonewashed and ripped jeans took their place alongside the famous mom jeans in the 1990s, as the 2000s shined its spotlight on hip huggers and low-rise jeans.

The denim jean style continues to evolve and recirculate throughout the years due to its appearance and resilience in fabric. Denim is a fashion staple throughout the world as it can be paired with a plethora of pieces, causing its popularity to never diminish.

Coupling a pair of denim jeans with a graphic tee and sneakers prove perfect for a casual night out, while pairing a denim jacket with a lovely dress, or by pairing a chic blouse, denim pants, and a pair of snazzy heels are date night worthy.
